Privacy Policy for Find Good Health

If you need more information or have any questions about my privacy policy, feel free to contact me by email or using the contact form. At Find Good Health, the privacy of my visitors is of extreme importance. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information is received and collected by findgoodhealth.org and how it is used.

What Data I Collect from You and Why

Depending on your actions in this website I may store some information about you. Every visitor IP and behavior on my website is logged as detailed in the log files and analytics section. This is for security and analytics purposes, to know how users use and browse my website and to defend it from hackers and spammers. I collect data cross device in order to see my returning visitors and what device they use more often in order to optimize my contents for the most common devices. I also track customers’ user ID so I can see returning visitors, their behavior, like cart abandonment, pages visited, etc. Below there’s more information on additional information gathered depending on three actions.

Comments

Apart from IP, cookies and logs your email address or social network profile name will be stored ONLY for notification purposes. In case you want to be notified of a reply to your comment this information will be used to notify you. I will never use this information for marketing purposes or contact you with any other purpose than just notify you of a comment reply. I will store this information for 6 months and if you want it removed earlier just contact me with a short petition and the email address you want removed.

Contact Forms & Newsletter Subscription

In these cases, apart from the information already mentioned, your email address will be stored with the purpose of support and notify you about updates, promotions and new products on my website. I reserve the right to contact you with any other purpose than those mentioned here. You can opt-out or unsubscribe at any moment from the newsletter or have your email removed in case of contact forms by clicking in the bottom of any email, replying to it with the word “unsubscribe” or use the contact form on this website.

Purchases

Additionally, in this case, your address and personal information provided in the purchase form will be stored with support, marketing (only if your agree to receive my newsletter) and shipping purposes. The security and encryption of my website makes this data to be safely stored and never disclosed. In case you want your purchase data to be removed just follow what is mentioned in contact forms section or reply to any email with the words “client data removal”.

When you purchase from me, I’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. I’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  1. Send you information about your account and order.
  2. Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints.
  3. Process payments and prevent fraud.
  4. Set up your account for my store.
  5. Comply with any legal obligations I have, such as calculating taxes.
  6. Improve my store offerings.
  7. Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them.
  8. If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

I generally store information about you for as long as I need the information for the purposes for which I collect and use it, and I am not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, I will store order information for two years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

I will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Payments

I accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Log Files and Web Analytics

Like many other Web sites, findgoodhealth.org makes use of log files and web analytics services. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages and number of clicks. I use these stats to analyze trends, administer the site and track user’s movements around the site. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

As third-party  technologies, I use Google Analytics and DoubleClick Cookies, to collect non-personal information, when you use the online site, in the form of various usage and user metrics. These tools and technologies collect and analyze certain types of information, including demographic and interests data, cookies, IP addresses, device and software identifiers, referring and exit URLs, on-site behavior and usage information, feature use metrics and statistics, and other similar information.

Cookies, Embedded Content and Web Beacons

Findgoodhealth.org does use cookies to store information about visitors preferences and user-specific actions, to customize a webpage based on visitor’s browser type or to store information that the visitor sends via their browser.

Articles and pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Thus I cannot control the activities of, such other websites.

DoubleClick DART Cookie

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on findgoodhealth.org.
  • Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit on findgoodhealth.org and other sites on the Internet.

Facebook & Other Cookies

Some of my advertising partners may also use cookies and web beacons on this site. Current advertising partners include: Google Adsense and may include others in the future.

These third-party ad servers or ad networks use their own technology to deliver advertisements through findgoodhealth.org to your browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by the third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see.

Regarding Facebook, I use the “visitor action pixels” from Facebook Inc (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”)) on our website.

This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables me to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to me, i.e. I do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why I’m informing you, based on my knowledge of the situation. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.

The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR. You can object to the collection of your data by Facebook pixel, or to the use of your data for the purpose of displaying Facebook ads by contacting the following address: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection legislation (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
